Marija Kamceva, M.D.
Hello! I am Dr. Marija Kamceva, a Yale College and Stanford Medical School graduate who has trained at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. I currently serve as chief resident of MGH Outpatient Services and chief resident of the MGH Inpatient Psychiatry Unit.
I have pursued additional training in the Advanced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy program at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (BPSI); as well as in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with the Behavioral Tech Institute and 2 Brattle Clinic in Cambridge, MA; and in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) with the McLean MBT Clinic.
I strive to create a warm environment for self-exploration, in order to help you live a more enriched and meaningful life. I have a particular passion for working with folks navigating life transitions, depression, trauma, anxiety and issues around identity, immigration and gender and sexuality.
I am currently accepting referrals for adults (18+) and couples. I offer flexible scheduling both in-person at my office in Cambridge MA, and via virtual sessions. To request a consultation, use the contact form; email mk@kamcevamd.com; or confidentially call at (617) 286-6815.
